Five Little Pumpkins

This is a little finger play that every parent and grandparent of a preschooler or kindergartner needs in their
Halloween literary collection:
FIVE LITTLE PUMPKINS

Five little pumpkins sitting on a gate,
The first one says, “Oh my it’s getting late!”
The second one says,
“There are screeches in the air!”
The third one says, “We don’t care.”
The fourth one says,
“Let’s run and run and run!”
The fifth one says, “I’m ready for some fun!”

OOOOhhhh went the wind and
out went the lights,
five little pumpkins rolled out of sight…
